Howl of a Dog rescuers took one of their rescues to the vet for a follow-up check-up. On their way back home, they noticed a black dog limping by the roadside. The rescuers pulled over, and they rushed to stop the pup from walking further into the thick bushes.
The poor animal seemed desperate. At the sight of his rescuers, he stopped instantly. He seemed to realize they were to help, so he walked toward them and jumped into the arms of his newfound friend.
On their way to the hospital, the rescuers agreed to name the pup Vlad. Vlad starved that he grabbed some tissue papers and tried to eat it. Surviving on the streets without food or water is difficult enough, let alone having an injury without receiving medical help.
Once they arrived, the vets examined Vlad. They estimated his injuries were no less than a week old. He had two broken bones on his front leg, and he needed urgent surgery to repair the damage.
The procedure was complex, but it was a success. The vets repaired his fractured bone with some screws and metal plates. A few weeks later, Vlad made an incredible recovery.
Vlad was incredibly skinny at the time of his rescue. But under the care of his newfound friends, he added significant weight. His wounds also healed adequately, and he’s now using his operated leg without limping.
Now that he’s completely recovered, Vlad is ready to find his own loving family. He is a dog full of joy. He loves life and finds so much joy in everything he does.
Vlad is always eager to learn something new. He is so friendly and incredibly loving with everyone he meets. Surely, this 2-year-old Transylvanian hound mix will make a perfect company and protector for anyone who opens their heart and home to him.
